Diversity Policy
1. Our Vision of Diversity
At Deenul Haq, our understanding of diversity is rooted in the Quranic declaration: “O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another.” (Surah Al-Hujurat: 13). We believe that the diversity of race, language, and culture is a sign of the Creator’s wisdom. Our mission is to unite this diverse humanity under the common banner of ‘Tawheed’ (the sovereignty of God) while respecting the unique identity of every individual.
2. Inclusion and Equality
We uphold the principle that no human being is superior to another based on their birth, ethnicity, or skin color. Following the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in his Last Sermon, we believe:
An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab.
A white person has no superiority over a black person, nor a black person has any superiority over a white person, except by piety (Taqwa).
3. Respect for All Beliefs
While Deenul Haq is dedicated to promoting the truth of Islam, we strictly adhere to the divine command: “There is no compulsion in religion” (Surah Al-Baqarah: 256). We respect the rights of all religious communities to practice their faith and exist in peace. Our discourse is intended to invite people to logic and truth through dialogue, not through prejudice or marginalization.
4. Commitment to the Oppressed (Mustad’afin)
A key part of our diversity policy is giving a voice to the marginalized. We are committed to highlighting the issues of the Mustad’afin (the oppressed) regardless of their geographical location or social status. We believe that true justice must be blind to the identity of the victim and the perpetrator.
5. Cultural and Intellectual Diversity
We acknowledge that the ‘Ummah’ spans across various continents and cultures. We embrace the diverse cultural expressions that do not contradict the core principles of Tawheed. Furthermore, we value intellectual diversity and encourage our contributors to bring unique, well-reasoned perspectives to contemporary challenges.
6. Non-Discrimination
Deenul Haq maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards:
Racism and Tribalism: Any form of ethnic or racial superiority is strictly prohibited in our content.
Gender Discrimination: We respect the roles and rights of both men and women as defined by the Creator, ensuring that the dignity of all is protected.
Sectarian Bias: We avoid fueling sectarian conflicts and focus on the universal principles that bind humanity together.
১. বৈচিত্র্য নিয়ে আমাদের দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি
‘দ্বীনুল হক’-এর নিকট বৈচিত্র্যের ধারণা পবিত্র কুরআনের সেই ঘোষণার ওপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত: “হে মানবজাতি! আমি তোমাদেরকে এক পুরুষ ও এক নারী থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছি এবং তোমাদেরকে বিভিন্ন জাতি ও গোত্রে বিভক্ত করেছি যাতে তোমরা একে অপরের সাথে পরিচিত হতে পারো।” (সুরা হুজরাত: ১৩)। আমরা বিশ্বাস করি যে বর্ণ, ভাষা এবং সংস্কৃতির এই বৈচিত্র্য মূলত স্রষ্টার মহিমারই নিদর্শন। আমাদের লক্ষ্য হলো মানুষের এই বৈচিত্র্যকে সম্মান জানিয়েই সকলকে তওহীদ বা স্রষ্টার সার্বভৌমত্বের পতাকাতলে ঐক্যবদ্ধ করা।
২. অন্তর্ভুক্তি ও সাম্য
আমরা এই নীতিতে বিশ্বাস করি যে- জন্মগত পরিচয়, জাতিসত্তা বা গায়ের রঙের ভিত্তিতে কোনো মানুষ অন্য মানুষের চেয়ে শ্রেষ্ঠ নয়। বিদায় হজের ভাষণে আল্লাহর রাসূল (সা.) যে শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন, আমরা তা পূর্ণাঙ্গভাবে ধারণ করি:
আরবের ওপর অনারবের কিংবা অনারবের ওপর আরবের কোনো শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব নেই।
কালোর ওপর সাদার কিংবা সাদার ওপর কালোর কোনো শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব নেই; শ্রেষ্ঠত্বের একমাত্র মাপকাঠি হলো ‘তাকওয়া’ বা খোদাভীতি।
৩. সকল বিশ্বাসের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা
যদিও দ্বীনুল হক ইসলামের শাশ্বত সত্য প্রচারের জন্য নিবেদিত, তবুও আমরা আল্লাহর এই নির্দেশ কঠোরভাবে পালন করি: “দীনের ব্যাপারে কোনো জবরদস্তি নেই।” (সুরা বাকারা: ২৫৬)। আমরা প্রতিটি ধর্মীয় সম্প্রদায়ের শান্তিপূর্ণ সহাবস্থান এবং নিজ নিজ ধর্ম পালনের অধিকারকে সম্মান করি। আমাদের আলোচনা ও যুক্তি মানুষকে সত্যের দিকে আহ্বান করার জন্য, কারো ওপর কোনো কিছু চাপিয়ে দেওয়ার জন্য বা কাউকে হেয় করার জন্য নয়।
৪. মজলুমের (মুস্তাদ’আফিন) প্রতি দায়বদ্ধতা
আমাদের বৈচিত্র্য নীতিমালার একটি বড় অংশ হলো অবহেলিত ও প্রান্তিক মানুষের কথা তুলে ধরা। আমরা বিশ্বজুড়ে ‘মুস্তাদ’আফিন’ বা মজলুম মানুষের অধিকার নিয়ে কাজ করতে প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ—তাদের ভৌগোলিক অবস্থান বা সামাজিক পরিচয় যাই হোক না কেন। আমরা বিশ্বাস করি প্রকৃত ন্যায়বিচার জাতি-ধর্ম নির্বিশেষে সকলের জন্য সমান হওয়া উচিত।
৫. সাংস্কৃতিক ও বুদ্ধিবৃত্তিক বৈচিত্র্য
আমরা জানি যে মুসলিম উম্মাহ বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন মহাদেশ ও সংস্কৃতির মানুষের সমন্বয়ে গঠিত। তওহীদের মূলনীতির সাথে সাংঘর্ষিক নয় এমন সকল স্থানীয় সংস্কৃতিকে আমরা শ্রদ্ধা করি। এছাড়া, আমরা বুদ্ধিবৃত্তিক বৈচিত্র্যকে মূল্যায়ন করি এবং সমসাময়িক চ্যালেঞ্জ মোকাবেলায় আমাদের লেখক ও গবেষকদের মৌলিক ও যৌক্তিক দৃষ্টিভঙ্গিকে উৎসাহিত করি।
৬. বৈষম্যহীনতা
‘দ্বীনুল হক’ নিচের বিষয়গুলোর ক্ষেত্রে ‘জিরো টলারেন্স’ বা শূন্য সহনশীলতা নীতি অনুসরণ করে:
বর্ণবাদ ও গোত্রবাদ: আমাদের কোনো কন্টেন্টে কোনো ধরণের জাতিগত বা বংশীয় শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব প্রচার করা কঠোরভাবে নিষিদ্ধ।
লিঙ্গ বৈষম্য: আমরা স্রষ্টা প্রদত্ত বিধান অনুযায়ী নারী ও পুরুষ উভয়ের অধিকার ও ভূমিকার প্রতি শ্রদ্ধাশীল এবং সকলের মর্যাদা রক্ষায় আপসহীন।
সাম্প্রদায়িক সংকীর্ণতা: আমরা কোনো ফেরকা বা মাজহাবগত দ্বন্দ্বকে উসকে দেই না; বরং মানবতার ঐক্যকে গুরুত্ব দেই।
